Project Manager/Estimator
Associates degree from a two year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified candidates must have the ability to work within time constraints to meet scheduled deadlines and procedures. Excellent geometry and trigonometry skills. Proficient in CAD; 3D a plus. Blueprint interpretation and understanding of geometric tolerance is required. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, vendors and customers. Must maintain a positive, can-do, customer service oriented attitude. Job summary to include, but is not limited to reviewing customer prints and technical documents, creating bill of materials and shop routes, calculating requirements needed and creating shop routings, researching and supplying necessary pre-production detail or processes and holding meetings, using CAD or making sketches to prepare drawings and provide to production to accurately produce product, resolving problems or differences with prints or contract detail as they relate to contract fulfillment, executing proper change orders or requests, assisting production and quality assurance with problem resolution as they relate to part inspection and verification, improving quality and lowering production costs on repeptitive parts and processes, performing project planning and tracking and maintaining relative records in the Company database. Quality Control Inspector
A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Welding Inspector is desired. A qualified candidate should have an understanding of the use and application of Faro Arm (CMM) or Romer Arm, an understanding of quality principles, such as ISO 9000 standards, ability to use measuring devices for certain applications and read customer and Company blueprints. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing measuring of parts using a CMM, performing assigned routine tests on material, goods in process and finished goods where results are compared to Company quality standards, completing capability studies for equipment and/or work cells and support products, recording results on inspection forms or charts and reporting number of defects found, writing Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIRs) and measuring parts for statistical analysis. Customer Service Representative
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A qualified candidate should have the ability to read, analyze and identify blueprints, the ability to write reports and business correspondence, prioritize tasks, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, have excellent communication skills, maintain a positive, can-do attitude and have the ability to work in a team environment. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to releasing job travelers to the shop floor, understanding the rules to release jobs, understanding how to obtain prints, coordinating jobs, pick lists and prints, creating new sales orders, entering and maintaining sales orders for production on a daily basis for all, but CSCN, entering and maintaining sales order entries and ship date confirmations, acknowledging customers' orders with Schuette's intended ship date, quantity and price, understanding how to use material availability, understanding how to obtain correct pricing, understanding and running CTP (Capable to Promise), independently understanding how to find the status of an order (job) and confirming a completion date or when it has shipped to the customer, using e-mail as a means to get answers to the customers versus hand written notes, providing proactive customer service, i.e. advanced ship notices, past due notices for repetitive customers, partnering with the Quality Department to respond to quality issues, correction action status or shipment issues and acting as liaison between the Shipping Department or the Quality Department and the customer to resolve issues. Scheduler
A one year certificate from a college or technical school, or six to twelve months related experience and/or training. A qualified candidate should have previous computer, electronic spreadsheet experience, understand various computer software programs, the ability to read customer and Company provided blueprints proficiently, the ability to read, analyze and identify blueprints, prioritize tasks, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, have excellent communication skills, maintain a positive, can-do attitude and have the ability to work in a team environment. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to scheduling work through the shop, keeping the scheduling information accurate, diffusing work centers to maximize through-put, providing feedback to Engineering on proper job order set-up, supplying information to the shop on job status, supplying information on late orders to responsible parties and offering suggestions for process improvements.
