Rothschild, WI - July 9, 2007 - Schuette Metals, a division of Schuette, Inc., is pleased to kick-off its 50 th year in business by announcing a major expansion project for its Rothschild, Wisconsin facility. Incorporated in 1957, Schuette Metals has consistently grown and has achieved sustained growth for the past seven years - including several years of double-digit growth. Schuette Metals is a leading full-service metal fabricator that provides world-class products for its clients in industries that include: agriculture, construction, architecture, power generation and outdoor furniture manufacturers.
The project, that will begin in July and is scheduled for completion by January 2008, will add 76,500 square feet of new space thus creating a total space at the Rothschild location of 112,000 square feet. The new (combined) 112,000 square-foot space will be air-conditioned and fully climate-controlled by one of the most advanced air-quality-management systems installed in Central Wisconsin - thus ensuring a workspace that is comfortable, clean and safe for everyone using it. One primary use of the newly created space (that will allow for extensive employee-team growth and the creation of up to 75 new jobs) will be as a training center for both current and future Schuette employees. "We like to call the training environment we provide for our employees 'Schuette University'," said Schuette Plant Manager, Tom Osowski. "We know it is critical - to both our corporate success and to the high satisfaction level of our employees - for members of our team to be the most highly skilled and well-trained personnel in this industry. That's why we place such emphasis on providing our employees with the most technologically advanced equipment and the comprehensive training necessary to ensure safe, efficient and top-quality work."
Schuette customers will also benefit from this facility expansion. "The additional space gives us plenty of capacity, and our new advanced-scheduling software package has allowed us to reduce our in-house manufacturing lead times by 50% in calendar days," said Sales Manager, Alan Philipps. "Plus, our on-time deliveries have increased 30% for 2007. That's great news for both our current and future customers."
